Richard S. Kollender, Chairman of the Board, Partner, Quaker BioVentures

Richard joined Quaker BioVentures as a Principal in early 2003. Previously, he worked at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), where he held positions in sales, marketing and worldwide business development. During his tenure in business development, he had the opportunity to evaluate both early and late stage compounds for in-licensing. Richard also served as an investment manager at S.R. One, GSK's venture capital arm. Richard began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick in Philadelphia, and spent six years in public practice. His public accounting practice included a significant emphasis on the healthcare and emerging businesses sectors. Richard holds a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College and an M.B.A. and Health Administration & Policy degrees with Honors from the University of Chicago. Richard sits on the board of directors of Transport Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and TargetRx, Inc. and is also an active board observer for several other Quaker BioVentures portfolio companies.


Craig H. Scott, President & Chief Executive Officer

Craig is President & Chief Executive Officer of TargetRx, Inc., and possesses a broad range of pharmaceutical marketing, sales and general management experience on both the client and service sides, and in both Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial start-up organizations. Prior to joining TargetRx, he was president of the Catalina Health Resource division of Catalina Marketing Corporation from 2004 until the leveraged buyout of the company in November 2007. During his tenure, he dramatically increased revenues and profits and led the transformation of Catalina Health Resource into the leading provider of direct-to-patient communication services in pharmacies nationwide. Craig joined Catalina after nine years with Nelson Communications, where he established several new healthcare marketing ventures, leading them from concept to implementation and commercial success. Prior to his work at Nelson Communications, Craig spent 13 years with Johnson & Johnson, where he held a variety of marketing and management positions. Most notably at J&J, Craig served as vice president of marketing as well as a management board member for Vistakon, the J&J affiliate that launched ACUVUE®, the first disposable and best-selling contact lens in the world. Craig is also very active in the community. Among his outside commitments, he currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Medical Missions for Children, the Board of Advisors for Second Chance Toys and the George School Strategic Planning Oversight Committee. Craig received his B.A. degree in Semiotics from Brown University and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Philip P. Gerbino, PharmD, President, University of the Sciences in Philadelphia

Dr. Philip P. Gerbino is President of University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP), which includes Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, College of Health Sciences, Misher College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Graduate Studies. He is a Fellow of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, the American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA), Academy of Pharmacy Practice and Management and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP). He currently serves on the board of Familymeds Inc. (FMRX-OB). He is currently Chair of the Executive Committee of University City Keystone Innovation Zone (UC KIZ) and is a board member of University City Science Center; both are economic development engines in the City of Philadelphia. He is on the board of BioAdvance and on their finance committee which utilizes Pennsylvania tobacco settlement funding to seed and provide start-up funds to Bio technology and similar companies in Pennsylvania. He also serves on professional and civic organizations boards. Dr. Gerbino has published and lectured extensively, and is an accomplished professional chairman and facilitator. Dr. Gerbino earned his PharmD and BS in Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, where he has worked for more than 30 years as an educator and administrator.


Jim Lim, Partner of Montagu Newhall Associates

Jim joined Montagu Newhall Associates, a venture capital firm that invests in both funds and companies, in October 2004. Previously, Mr. Lim was a Director at Commonfund Capital, a fund-of-funds firm that manages nearly $5.5 billion in commitments across venture capital, private equity, international private capital and natural resources programs. Mr. Lim also spent three years at Pfizer, where he invested in venture capital funds on behalf of their $2 billion pension plan in addition to assignments in Research and Development and Sales Finance. Jim is a graduate of Washington College and received his MBA in Finance from Indiana University.


Michael J. Luby, Co-Founder, Head of Business Development

Mike is Head of Business Development and is a Co-Founder of TargetRx. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors since the Company's inception. Prior to founding TargetRx, Mike spent 10 years in sales and marketing positions at Merck & Co., Inc. His most recent position at Merck was Senior Director of Marketing, Worldwide for New Products, where he was responsible for the marketing planning for two late stage development products. Previously, Mike served as Director of New Product Marketing, managing the marketing of early stage drug development candidates and also evaluating the marketing potential of in-licensing opportunities from biotech companies. Previous assignments included Senior Marketing Manager for Fosamax, Market Research Analyst for Vasotec and Prilosec, and marketing assignments that focused on marketing to managed care customers, including an assignment at Merck-Medco Managed Care. Mike holds a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Robert J. More, General Partner of Domain Associates

Bob joined Domain Associates as a Kauffman Fellow in 1997 and became a General Partner in June 2000. Established by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, this program is designed to promote entrepreneurial leadership by selecting graduate students in business, science, and technology to join select venture capital firms. While at Domain, Bob helped start Small Molecule Therapeutics, Inc., and he served as the Chief Operating officer of this drug discovery company until October 1998, when he returned to Domain. While in business school, Bob interned with MedVest, Inc., a seed venture group focusing on healthcare start-ups. Previously, he held positions at Somatogen, Inc. and at Pharmacia Biotech. Bob currently sits on the New Jersey Economic Development Authority Technology Advisory Board. Bob holds a B.A. from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business Administration, University of Virginia.


John M. Nehra, General Partner of New Enterprise Associates

John joined NEA in 1989 and focuses on a wide range of high-technology companies with an emphasis on healthcare services and information systems, medical devices and telecommunications. John currently sits on the boards of directors of Achates/The Foundry, Bridge Medical, Celeris Corporation, eBenX, Evalve, Fox Hollow Technologies, Iridex Corporation, Primax Recoveries, ProtoStar, Proxima Therapeutics, Transfusion Technologies and TransVascular. His prior board memberships include EndoMatrix, Integrated Telecom, Optical Sensors, Surgical Health, TELOGY Networks and Vivra. Prior to joining NEA, John was a Managing Director of Alex. Brown & Sons with primary responsibility for developing that firm's healthcare research, investment banking and capital markets businesses. John also serves as the Managing General Partner of Catalyst Ventures. John holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan.


Charles W. Newhall III, Co-Founder and General Partner of New Enterprise Associates

Chuck is a Co-Founder and General Partner of NEA. Chuck's investment activities focus on healthcare service and biopharmaceutical companies. Chuck currently sits on the boards of directors of AMERIGROUP, Caremark Rx, Communication Systems Technology, ElderHealth, HealthSouth Corp., LifeMetrix, Pioneer EyeCare, Sensors for Medicine & Science and VIRTMED. He works closely with MediSphere Health Partners & CompHealth. His prior board memberships include Chomerics, Genetic Therapy, Life Technologies, Russ Pharmaceuticals, Scandipharm, Sepracor, Surgical Health and Zymark Corporation. He is a founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association. Before co-founding NEA, Chuck was a Vice President with T. Rowe Price Associates and Vice President of their New Horizons Fund. Chuck holds a B.A. in English Literature with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business.


Stuart Samuels, Management Consultant

Mr. Samuels has more than 35 years of marketing and senior management experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare information industries. Roles include General Manager of Rorer Pharmaceuticals, and President of the Dermik Laboratories. At Rorer, he managed, with total P&L responsibility, three operating divisions with more than $300 million in sales, $100 million in operating expenses and 1,000 employees. Prior roles include Vice President of Marketing for Revlon Healthcare Group, and nine years in senior marketing roles at Warner Lambert. As an independent management consultant since 1990, Mr. Samuels has provided executive-level support to a variety of organizations. He sits on the board of directors of Afferon Corporation, Chronimed, Inc., Health Market Science, Inc., PharMetrics, Inc., and TargetRx, Inc. Mr. Samuels holds a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
